During this unprecedented time the children need our help more than ever. We are working with a local school to help make sure that the children who relied on the breakfast and lunch program at school to remain fed.
The Rotary worked with the local friends of the Rotary from towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay to create, build, and install a planter with a 'Nova Scotia Strong' sign with messaging to remind our community that we are in this together.
Pat Rutherford has donated her time and material making masks that have been offered to the community for a donation to the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital Auxiliary,
The Lunenburg Rotary Club and The Stephen Lewis Foundation. To date $1,500 had been donated.

The Rotary donated money to purchase care packages for 28 VON clients. The packages were to let them know we were thinking of them and missing them and to brighten their days during the pandemic.
The gifts and kindness were greatly appreciated.
Lunenburg Rotary has been a long time supporter of our local nursing home, Harbour View Haven.
Care packages were donated to let our friends and family who reside at Harbour View that the community was thinking of them and were there for support.
The Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s charitable arm, has to date awarded $20 million to support Rotary clubs worldwide in their immediate response to COVID-19 in their communities, and to long term recovery efforts.
